Ich habe die Pirastro Perpetual E- Saite in der Stärke 0,267 mm auf meiner Geige und bin begeistert. Ein sehr tragfähiger Ton, der gleichwohl modulierfahig ist und eine interessante Tiefe im Ton besitzt. Wem es mehr auf leuchtende Brillianz ankommt, mag vielleicht eher eine andere Saite wählen. Obwohl die Perpetual dies durchaus bietet, ist das nicht vordergründig charakterisierend sondern erscheint mehr eingebettet in einen gerundetes Klangspektrum.

Lange habe ich für mein "probleminstrument" eine passende E Saite gesucht, die rund und nicht schrill oder spitz klingt, trotzdem aber einen focussierten Strahl liefert. auf Empfehlung eiens geigenbauers die neue perpetual getestet und ich bins ehr zufrieden. Die Saite passt wudnerbar zu allen anderen Saiten (auch anderer Hersteller) und verleiht meinem Instrument unaufgeregten Glanz ohne zu nerven.
negativ ist der relativ hohe Preis für eine E-Saite. ich hoffe, dass sie auch entsprechend lange hält.
