Having purchased a number of shoulder rests - all unsatisfactory for me - I tried my violin teacher's Korfka Rest and immediately new it would be right for me. It may need adjustments but there are excellent videos available to assist.

Gives some extra lift

This foot is noticeably longer than the standard one, and it gives the option for some extra lift. Along with the two Ergo-Pack pieces you get with the viola Korfker Rest (or if you buy the Ergo-Pack separately) which you can use to add a bit more lift as well, you can get a pretty high rest. Also, the feet on the Korfker are really great, very grippy and secure.
