The belt is very tight. The mounts have no backlash. I chose it for a not very expensive guitar and is extremely pleased with the quality for the given price!

Expected something of worse quality for something at this price level, nonetheless this strap has been very comfortable thus far and never fatigues my shoulder when I am practicing the guitar. I also prefer to have my straps tight and the guitar higher up against my chest and this strap gives me enough leeway to do just that.
