Check your tips!

The stick seems fine, but the nylon tips have got some really sharp mould lines and scuffs on the plastic so I can't actually use them on my mesh edrum kit or they will tear the heads.

No such problems with the Vics that I also ordered, which have perfectly moulded and rumbled/smoothed nylon tips that pose no risk to my very expensive edrums.

I've played wood tipped ProMarks for decades now, and have never had a problem with them. These however are an unacceptable downturn in quality, especially for premium sticks, and are not fit for purpose.

Will probably be returning these, assuming Thomann live up to their distance selling obligations.

Edit: Thomann very quickly offered a full refund. Thank you for making the process easy. :)

My standard stick for years now
Length works better for me than a 5A, and once I used Oak sticks, I have never gone back to Hickory etc. Much nicer feel. Possibly a little easier on the hands too.

Die besten Drumsticks, die ich je benutzt habe! Sie sind leicht, aber man kann trotzdem kraftvoll reinhauen, liegen super in der Hand und die Haltbarkeit scheint auch top zu sein. Die Nylon Tips sind nach mehrmaligen Spielen immer noch da, wo sie sein sollen ;)
Empfehlung für jede Stilrichtung.

Mes préférées

Définitivement mes baguettes préférer pour jouer la subtilité. Très légères et délicates sur les cymbales (surtout la cloche de ride). Le nylon offre un toucher bien moins fatiguant.

Ce ne sont certes pas les plus robustes mais pour le prix c'est largement correct.
