A special set of strings that the German manufacturer PYRAMID produced for Alex Beyrodt (Alex Beyrodt's Voodoo Circle, Primal Fear, Glenn Hughes, Silent Force). They are specifically aimed at guitarists who like to to tackle faster material
The "Pure Nickel Round Wound" strings are characterised by their tonal flexibility, great dynamics, extraordinary sound and long life

A really good set of strings that sounds slightly brighter than the GHS, Ernie Ball and D’addario strings I used, actually so bright that I had to take a bit of treble and presence away, yet ended up with a clearer sound that cuts trough.
They also sustain better, which is nice for those highest fret bends.
No idea how long they will last, but probably as long as any other set around that pricerange, I do wipe them down after each session.
Also nice with the slightly thicker EAD strings.
Recommended for lead that wants to be brighter and cut through in standard E to D tuning.

Great strings for the money.

These went on a mid 1960's replica Stratocaster that I built for myself and I am very happy with them. I have built some early fender style guitars for myself that are oil finished and sound really good unplugged as well as into my 1960 2x12 valve amp and these strings help the process along nicely.

Bien, oui, mais...Well, yes, but...

Good game, very pleasant on my Les Paul, bought because it pulls heavily in the bass without being extreme either, but, above all, an treble in 09, practical for easy bends. But there you have it, once the said broken string is mounted at the third bend (!) after tuning it to high E..; So, the game is good, but the treble is not reliable because it is broken at the ball at the end. Fortunately, aware that this tie rod is fragile, I had planned for this by ordering two strings individually from the same brand . In conclusion, much less expensive than many others, this set corresponds perfectly to my expectations, but to avoid disappointment, do like me, order two other strings in addition, it avoids problems, and the peak does not is not so affected in the end. Thanks for reading.

Für mich die Perfekten SaitenFor me the perfect strings
ThrashHead 10.11.2018

In the band we play a whole tone lower and I personally don't want to put huge, thick steel cables on my guitar. A number "harder" than I use in the standard tuning (9-46) is the perfect choice for me, nice and tight and easy to hit at the top, perfect for bends of all kinds at the bottom. What more is there to say? The sound is of course primarily dependent on the guitar and pickup, but I have the feeling that the lower frequencies are nicely emphasized here, which I personally like! There's nothing negative to report, except that the G string from the last set broke after a week, but that could also be due to the squeakers I didn't play very carefully.
