Schöne Saiten, vor allem da es nur wenige für Oktavmandolinen, oder je nachdem, Irish Short-Scale Bouzouki, gibt.
Der Klang kommt dem, was ich mir klanglich für meine Oktavmandoline vorgestellt habe, bisher am nächsten. Sie soll vor allem für historische Stücke genutzt werden, im Klang also eher an eine Cister erinnern. Das wird eindeutig erreicht und ich glaube, näher komme ich mit vorkonfektionierten Saite auch nicht an den Sound heran.
Das die beiden tiefen Chöre oktaviert sind hilft dabei sehr. Die Saiten sind übrigens größtenteils aus Silberstahl, die beiden Tiefen Saiten sind aus versilbert umsponnenem Stahl.
Das ganze funktioniert außerdem auch noch bei einer Mensur von 58,5 cm. Gestimmt auf Gdgd'. Adad' müsste da noch gehen, viel mehr steckt in den Saiten aber vermutlich nicht drin. Gefühlt sind die Saiten damit fast an der Grenze und zum Stimmen ist schon etwas feingefühl nötig.
Ich werde Sie auf jeden Fall weiter spielen!

Nice strings, especially since there are only a few for octave mandolins or, depending on the case, Irish short-scale bouzouki. The sound is so far closest to what I imagined for my octave mandolin. It is intended to be used primarily for historical pieces, so its sound is more reminiscent of a cisterna. This is clearly achieved and I don't think I can get any closer to the sound with pre-assembled strings. The fact that the two low choirs are octaves helps a lot. By the way, the strings are mostly made of silver steel, the two low strings are made of silver-coated steel. The whole thing also works with a scale length of 58.5 cm. Voted for Gdgd'. Adad' would still have to work, but there probably isn't much more in the strings. It feels like the strings are almost at their limit and a bit of sensitivity is required to tune them. I will definitely keep playing you!

Un tirant un peu faible

Les cordes Pyramid sont de bonne qualité générale mais les tirants fournis sont un peu faible générant un son un son manquant de puissance et une forte tendance à un désaccordage fréquent. On préférerait du bronze pour les cordes filées. De toutes façons, on a guère le choix pour les jeux de cordes avec cordes à l'octave. Thomann en est un des uniques fournisseurs. Gardez surtout cette référence!

Die Pyramid Oktav Mandolin Saiten sind gut für die Mandoline geeignet. Sie haben einen schönen brillianten Klang und erfüllen voll und ganz ihren Zweck. Damit kann man nichts falsch machen! Insgesamt gut zufrieden.
