P
Outstanding strings!
Paul2968 13.10.2014
I have been using Pyramid PR326 strings on my Yasuma Model 130 acoustic (Dreadnought, cedar top, mahogany back & sides) for over a year. They transformed the sound of this guitar, which I have owned for 35 years! They offer me the warm, complex, balanced tone that I value and which I have not yet found in other phosphor bronze strings (including other round-core types). The polished finish does improve their playability and I find they last a long time.

A
These could be perfect

As other reviewers also noted, the plain strings in my set (11 and 15) had black corrosion straight out of the package. However, the roundwound/roundcore ones are great once worn in and lubricated with a bit of string cleaner, sound great and while not as silent as flatwounds do reduce the noise. I also went for 11s instead of the 12s because I notice these have a bit more string tension / affect the action. That said, I actually quite like these but I replaced the plain E and B with coated Elixirs.
