This particular sized remo ambassador clear head was purchased from the excellent Thomann site, for the one reason of supplying a very open sound as a resonant head on a 20 x 14 Star bubinga bass drum. Along with a remo clear Emperor on the batter side, this Ambassador clear was able let the drum sound more open and natural without having
the muted sound which would be the usual choice. Plus the cordia wood of the drum can be seen in all it's glory. Excellent product and excellent service.

It's a Remo head... quality guaranteed
David5140 14.05.2016
Remo is the most popular brand for drum heads and I've always used their heads. I switch between single-ply Ambassadors and two-ply Emperors for my tom toms and bass drums but I think single-ply is my favourite for their open sound.

Ehrlichst möglicher Ton
Roland Maschke 31.03.2019
