Awesome

Honestly this has got to be the best bit of kit I have bought for the guitar ever. Not only does it allow me to crank the valves in my amp to get out a great tone but it allows me to do it without going deaf - genius! If that's not enough it also works as a DI/Load box so I can take out a 2ndary line out and use the onboard EQ to sculpt my tone further or use it as a cabinet emulator. The EQ is extremely responsive and when blended with the sound of my own cab the results are sonic beauty! This box can be used both in the studio as well as live so it is hugely versatile. Makes me want to check out their amps now!

Great but adding too much bass end, not transparent
Sergey T 18.12.2020
It is great analog attenuator and a lod box. Works really well. Problem is there's adding a lot of bass and the sound becomes muddy. Even if you try to remove it using the EQ. But at the end you learn to adapt.

Amazing! Worth every cent!
Happy_user_123 08.02.2018
As soon as I tried it, it sounded great. And then I figured out my speaker cable was actually broken a bit. So after the replacement... oh my god...

The sound is amazing, transparent and natural! It does everything as advertised, or even better than can be seen on the demos. The analog speaker simulation is just incredible. But it does take a bit time/skill to set up, however it is worth investing your time in. And the possibilities are endless!
Built like a tank, plus it barely heats up even after attenuating 40W of tube power for some time.

So far I used it with my Fender Bandmaster VM and Blackstar HT1R, as an attenuator, and as a speaker load (with eq sim, and with 3rd party impulses). I must say, probably the best piece of gear I ever bought.

Oh yeah, Thommann was great with shipping, tracking and general support, so thumbs up for them!

If you have any tube amp at home, get this.. and rock like you've never rocked before \m/ !!!

Best piece of gear I own!
Anonymous 28.09.2016
This thing is the only attenuator you will ever need.
Combined with other features like the loadbox and the cab simulator, as well as 3 different outs makes this thing a juggernaut in home studio, or really in any situation your amp is too loud or your box is just too big/heavy to carry around.
Everything on it is top quality and feels really sturdy, as I got used to with Rivera.
The sound from it is pretty much your sound, only not so loud.
Few times it felt like my sound was lacking bass or treble (the attenuator was almost full on) but there are so many ways with this unit to remedy these slight changes that I almost forgot about that.
One of the last few companies left that makes no compromise when quality and longivity of their products are in question.
It is not a cheap device, and I was on the fence for a long time, but now I am really happy that i bought it.
Probably one of the best practical pieces of gear I ever bought.
