Nice little hand grip for various microphones in the field or in the studio, can also be extended with additional pole.

Only a little pricey for a simple handle.

Slightly Useful Accessory

This is simply a bar of metal with a a 3/8" thread on each end - bolt on one end, socket on the other - covered by a tube of foam.

If you intend to use this with a portable recorder, remember to get an adapter to 1/4" threading (camera tripod style) that they tend to use.

The foam is not glued to the metal bar so can slide around if you move it quickly and it there is weight attached. (-2 starts for stability.)

The foam does not reduce handling noise, sadly. (-1 star for quality.)

I'm not sure when the internal 3/8" threading on the bottom might be useful, but it's nice it's there!

Overall, the quality if acceptable but as others have mentioned, it seems a little overpriced.

Nice little device to hand-hold a mic for stability, or to attach to a DSLR camera.
