TR
I am really pleased
Tabacaru R. 01.05.2020
The instrument is perfect. No problems with it since i got it.
The instrument had no scratches, dents, holes, or any sort of physical problem. The strings are fine, possibly made by SAZ as well, can't really say, Though they are pretty identical with the 652B Extra string set i ordered.
One little problem would be that the strings were oiled (in order avoid rust for as long as possible while in storage), which is a good thing, but they were a bit over oiled so i had to take them out clean the oil marks on the body and then but them back in.
The other little problem would be the packaging.
The instrument was in its bag, and then in a large standard Thomann instrument cardboard box, covered with about 3 to 4 lair of air bags (or whatever you call them). Problem was that the bags were layered only on top, so the bagged instrument would sit in between the wall of the box and all the air bags. If that side of the box would have been hit, the instrument would have been damaged for sure. Again, it didn't god damaged, but i could have.

I
Instrument looks great, but a box was damaged
Ixior 17.01.2021
I'm no expert in instruments, but the saz looks and sounds great and has two minor scratches.

However, the box was damaged while shipping (it was stated so on the tracking page). While I was waiting for the instrument to be shipped to me, I was afraid that it was damaged as well. Luckily, it was not. When the instrument finally got here (it took about a month to travel from Germany to Lithuania in these Corona times), the box had a hole in it that was sealed by duct tape bearing a name of a local shipping company. And one of the small items I ordered must have fell out through the hole of the box. Thomann should really reconsider the way they pack an unusual instrument - the box was not sealed good enough.

T
beware when tuning!
Tanj 04.04.2024
When first sitting down to tune it, one of the strings snapped before reaching its intended pitch for some reason...
Other than that, all seems good, well-made instrument & perfect for a beginner like me
