And you can feel the difference in quality. More solid, slightly heavier and more robust. In a perfect world it would sit a little lower in the nut shelf, but that's easily remedied

Bought this as a replacement nut for a guitar as the Floyd rose kit did not come with it.
Top quality product, fitted very easily on to the guitar. Perfect companion for the Schaller tremolo.

Fantastic quality!

I purchased this nut as an upgrade to a guitar kit I had built. The standard one with the kit was made of poor quality metal that after a few off and ons with the string clamps the female threading gave up. Right out the box the schaller nut feels more expensive and durable. I highly recommend using this product as a replacement or upgrade to your guitar. I now have confidence knowing I can tighten my string clamps and not worry about them being too loose or stripping any threading.

I bought it to replace the nut on the JS32 Jackson. You can definitely see and feel the difference in quality. However, even though the unit on the Jackson is supposed to be a Jackson branded FR Special, it's not the same size. They are both 43mm wide but the Schaller is longer toward the headstock and I'll need to sand the edge of the truss rod cover to get it to fit. For now I've got the screws and pads on the old nut. The screws do not strip and the pads are bigger and fit properly without twisting.
