Amplifying a cello in a heavy band surrounded by distorted guitars is no easy feat. The schertler manages to do it with really minimal feedback, even at high volume. It reproduces the cello's warmth in a way that I have never experienced with other pick-ups - none of that reedy nasal tone you usually get. I did need to get it fitted by a luthier which involved chopping off a little bit of my bridge so if you've got a particularly precious or valuable bridge you might want to check if that would be necessary before you buy. But overall I can't praise it highly enough - it has made playing live so much less stressful and more enjoyable.

Erst "maßschneidern" - dann plug and play
