Simply the best tuba mute ever

Having had several different tuba mutes, all of which were 'ok' but seemed to be missing something, I decided to try this Schlipf mute. What a difference to everything I've tried before ! It feels so 'free' and it plays like there is nothing there, except everyone knows there is something there as the reduction in noise is phenomenal. My neighbours are now happy for me to practice at any time. The intonation is spot on from top C (on BBb bass trebke clef) right down to double pedal Eb. It has been worth every penny. A big plus is that it sits in the bell, and protects the instrument when standing upright in my gig bag. Don't buy anything else until you've tried this. I'm saving for another regular Schlipf mute now to go alongside this. I'm absolutely delighted with the results. There isn't a single bad thing to say about this mute, nor the superb service and price from Thomann.
