I have used radio mics professionally for over 40 years now. That doesn't mean I know everything there is to know, but I do have a lot of experience. For my own sound system I use rather expensive Sony radio mics, but this was purchased and an economic solution for a local church.
Here are my comments:
1/ It's plastic. OK, so are the Sony, but their rack mount receivers aren't... I mean it feels very plastic and fragile. Look after it and it will be OK but don't use is as a rugged on-the-road system!
2/ It works well. Quality is reasonable and it's simple to set up.
3/ The mic itself is terrible, replace that as soon as you can!
Basically, this is good value for money. It's not the cheapest nor is it even approaching the bigger professional systems I use in quality or price!
