Sturdy and high quality case
Nonsensei 21.12.2019
This is ostensibly a soft case, but the padding is very sturdy. Much more road-friendly size than a square case for V-style guitars, so you won't be as hated by your bandmates with this when going on the road. A few pockets and compartments for extra strings, picks and other paraphernalia you might want to have with you.

One slight drawback: the notch inside the case which is supposed to house your guitar's strap screw is positioned to one side, i.e. the top edge of the back of the guitar. On a BC Rich at least the screw is actually right along the neck and smack in the middle of the guitar's width. Thus, the strap screw doesn't actually go inside the notch it's intended to go into. Doesn't seem to really matter too much, but the guitar is resting on the screw inside the case and isn't completely flush or flat. The guitar doesn't move around or doesn't seem to be under extra pressure once the case is closed though, so should not be a major issue. Just a heads up.

I bought this case to a BC Rich JRV7, I read it was the only one in which it could fit, and it did fit great! It is amazingly resistant and sturdy, comfortable to transport in my back and, for what the guitar told me, very comfortable inside ;) It only has one flaw: it doesn't stay opened, the lid always closes itself. This is not a big problem, just an inconvenience.

I had a hard case to another V guitar previously and, afterwards, I bought another soft case since I was told it was the only that would fit a Jackson KV7. However I prefer this one, the hard case, although apparently harder and more resistant, is a nightmare to transport (only a handle, no back straps), and I really like to have outside pockets like this has. The other soft case I bought is not as well built, fluffy and stable inside or comfortable to transport as this one. The lid stays opened, but it is a small win compared to its cons.

This soft case is in the top of my favorite cases list, and in my future V guitar purchases I will try to fit them in this case before hand and, only if they don't fit, I will, sadly, opt for another.

A very good shelter for my Flying V
Anonymous 06.05.2016
This case is a top quality product in terms of manufacturing and material used, inside and outside. It is strong, complete and suitable not only for the instrument itself but also for the bags dedicated to the accessories.

I have bought it for my Epiphone Flying V (classic Flying V shape) because I needed a case which could be safe and "ergonomic" at the same time, a perfect alternative to the less comfortable rectangular case for my practical needs.

What I suffer for this case? Maybe that it's not perfectly balanced: the handles could be positioned in a better place/way because the guitar tends to fall frontward.

At the end, I can proudly recommend this SKB V-Style Case.
