J
Excellent giuro for the price
James4797 22.10.2015
I bought this from the sound samples on the thomann website. My other guiro wasn't cutting it live- I wanted something louder and with more tone. I didn't however want to go for a plastic one, needed it to be 'woody'. I am really happy with this. I thought from the pictures that it looked a bit like it could end up being a 'school' instrument, especially as it wasn't very expensive. However, it has proved to be great- exactly what I was looking for.

The scraper attached is quite small, but the two sides do give you two distinct tones. It has a good balance between tone and volume, and works unmiked up at gigs. I have not played much on a really expensive guiroi, but to be honest I can't imagine bothering to spend more, as this makes exactly the sound I was wanting, and it looks like it will last well too.

Un bon guiro basique
Bernard377 06.07.2011

Made in México!
Christian92 12.11.2009
Was will man mehr?
