Specifications:
The Stairville PD-332 Power Distributor 32A is a power distributor that is connected to a 32A house connection. In terms of outputs, it offers six earthing contact sockets as well as a three-phase socket, in addition to which the unit is rack-compatible - which makes it one of the few distributors that combine a 32A output with the option of rack installation. Alternatively, the Stairville PD-332 Power Distributor 32A can also be simply placed on its feet. Its displays, which deliver accurate information on voltage and current per phase at all times, are a further highlight, and these make it easy to ensure an even load on the phases with only one glance at the displays.
The Stairville PD-332 Power Distributor 32A connects to a 32A three-phase house socket - the connecting cable required for this is equipped with a CEE plug and is 50cm long. The distributor supplies 16A alternating current from two earthed sockets per phase. In addition, a built-in 32A, three-phase output has been integrated into the unit in the form of a five-pole CEE socket. In total, the CEE and the six Schuko outputs supply up to 7360W, with all available connections housed on the rear of the unit and designed as built-in sockets with hinged covers. The front of the housing provides an overview of the RCD as well as the six circuit breakers - each assigned to one of the Schuko connections. Conveniently, the current voltage and amperage for each phase can be checked individually using the individual displays to the right of the switches.
The Stairville PD-332 Power Distributor 32A is a distributor designed for professional use, which provides numerous Schuko connections in every music club or theatre, as well as in every other type of event location with a 32A three-phase connection. In this way, the phases for light and sound can be cleanly separated from each other, which means that disturbing interference in the sound by dimmed lights can be easily avoided - and distributing the load evenly is made easy. The six red bar displays are easy to read even in the dark, and if an RCD or a fuse trips, they can be easily reached on the front panel. Thanks to its IP44 protection class, the unit is protected against splash water from all sides. On live stages, the matt black housing is hardly noticeable when placed at the edge of the stage, and for touring, rental companies can also mount it in a rack.
Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann's in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store's product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name "Stairville" is also a catchy English translation of "Treppendorf", the town that Thomann calls home.
The Stairville PD-332 Power Distributor 32A helps users keep everything unter control, so they don't have to call the caretaker to replace fuses if a power failure occurs while on tour. The distributor should preferably be installed in a case suitable for the road, and if the user chooses one with four height units, such as the Thon Rack 4HE Eco 40, and installs the distributor as high as possible, they will still have enough space at the bottom for plugs to be connected at the rear, even with angled plugs. In addition, customised cases that accommodate additional equipment are available on request. After arriving at the venue, the user simply has to connect the three-phase cable to the house connection, trigger the RCD button for test purposes, and load all three phases equally - a reliable power supply is then guaranteed. But caution is advised: The person in charge should not lock the room where the distributor is set up - otherwise, an involuntary sprint through the venue could be necessary.
