weak signal, possibly favours louder environment

The price for the Superlux E524/D is low.
Compared to my other condenser stereo mics, this has a considerably weaker signal. Not a problem if you can site the mic close.
Comes with plastic box and battery but it maybe better to spend more money on a higher quality stereo microphone. This is a cheap option and the build quality reflects this.

Mediocre at best

I bought this mic to have a room image for live multitrack recordings, but I was disappointed when I heard it in action. The mic is very gain hungry even though it runs on 48v and sounds weak at the high frequencies range.
However, it has a lot of dynamic range even when you boost gain.
I will probably will use it for other applications.

Täysin tuntematon valmistaja minulle mutta täytyy myöntää että tässä mikissä on hinta laatusuhde kohdallaan. Hyvä stereo kuva kattavat varusteet ja kestävä kuljetus salkku tähän hintaan on tosi luxusta. Mikrofoni on metalli runkoinen ja erittäin tanakkaa tekoa. Mikki toimii phantomin jännitteen lisäksi myös paristolla joka on hyvä asia ainakin kenttä äänityksissä. Toimi myös erittäin hyvin DSLR kameran ulkoisena mikkinä. Kokeiltu myös rumpujen overhead mikkinä ja siinäkin toimi loistavasti. Ainoana miinuksena tulee mieleen mikin mukana tullut tuulisuoja jota en ainakaan itse saanut paikalleen ennen kuin pienen saksimisen jälkeen.
Paketissa tulee mukana kaikki tarvittava eli mikki, kaapeli, tuulisuoja, paristo, ja pöytäteline.

Praktischer Helfer

Hatte es ursprünglich für Mobilaufnahmen mit meinem Zoom H6 gedacht, allerdings rauscht es deutlich stärker als die eingebauten XY-Mics.
Ist aber immer noch sinnvoll für Stereoaufnahmen bei Wind mit Zeppelin, das wohl als Vorbild gediente Rode Stereomic hätte nämlich NICHT in die Halterung vom Rode Blimp II gepasst und das Superlux ist schlanker.
Auch wenn man relativ kräftige Signale im Studio aufnehmen will ist es schön praktisch. Habe schon ein paar akustische Gitarren damit aufgenommen.
