I love using my tone knob now!

I used this capacitor on the tone knob of my Telecaster because i was not happy with the electrolytic that was previously installed. I could not get the sound i wanted when rolling off the tone knob. I did some research and this capacitor was highly recommended. Especially if you want a warm smooth tone while playing jazz. I installed this and since then i must admit i am a lover of the tone knob. There are many sounds which you can get at 30%, 60-70% and also when its 100% rolled off. All of these sounds are now usable compared to the previous capacitor that sounded dull.
I also bought the same capacitor at 47nf value just to check the difference in sound. The 22nf is slightly brighter than the 47nf but with the same qualities.
Overall warm tone, lets you use 100% of your tone knob.
Highly recommended!

I used this capacitor on my red strat that didn't play for years now.
I had no pots, selector, jack or capacitors, so decided to do the wiring 1950s way, and this seemed like a good .022?F cap for the tone pot.
I was a little worried for its size. Didn't know if it was gonna fit, but it did fit without a problem.

As for the quality, I have to say it is pretty damn good. The tone pots just don't mess with the sound. It makes the tone do what it should (and I find it does it a little better - with wider range - than the .333 I have on my black strat).

I strongly recommend it.

quality capacitor

I have different guitars with different capacitors and I think I agree with what Jason Lollar, who said that essentially if it's a good quality capacitor it doesn't really matters what it is. all of mine are good quality and I can't tell if they sound different. and this is a good quality one. so if you need a capacitor it's a way to go I guess. I used it on Epiphone Casino with lollar pickups
