It is small and easy to carry, in it's wooden case. Well made but delicate. The resonators can bend out of shape but are fixable, with careful bending.
It is not as loud as the kind that you hold with your teeth, but with practice it gets better. The film "Masters of The Yi Mouth Harp" shows how to get louder after 27:30. The film also shows how they are made.
A good instrument to carry with you, for personal entertainment, or possibly at a campfire.
You would need amplification for public performances in a noisy area. Many videos should it as loud, but you may also notice background sounds are also loud, as the volume has been increased.
