OK but only because they are cheap
Pete-plays-guitar 30.05.2017
I needed some short XLR patch cables for my rack and din't want to make any myself (I am obviously getting lazy as I am getting older) so I took a punt and bought these.

So we are looming at around 2¤ per cable, My Neutrik plugs (when I do build my own cables) alone cost most than that. The plugs are OK, I have had issues with the barrels twisting and the locking pins not aligning which is a pain, but one in place I get the feeling that they are happy if they are not used.

For applications where the plugs are going in and out all of the time, I would not give these a very ling lifespan, but for permanent installations they are fine and do the job.

So if you are desperate and feeling a little pokey on the money side of things they are OK, but if your gig relies on them then go for something a little more substantial (or make them yourselves).

....... they they are OK .... that's about it.

Cheap working cables
aggo 20.04.2020
I bought 2 of those for my band's stage splitter.

Pros:
- soundwise they seem ok for stage
- extremely cheap, no match for the price

Cons:
- the cable is very very thin, so I wouldn't raccomend these for a regular life on the road, unless you always keep them connected somewhere inside a rack case like I do.
- the XLR connectors are melted with the cable, so it is impossible to use them as spare parts if the cable breaks.

Decent budget option

These are handy for semi-permanent placement in the back of racks and the occasional situation where you might need to extend a cable by just a little bit. They're decent enough quality but not super rugged or easily maintainable so in more intensive use cases you might want something a bit more hardy though. For light duties they're fine and at this price you can't really go wrong.

incredibly cheap

serves 1001 purposes... cheap enough so that if one is broken you'll have another 2 ready to replace it.

cheap but it feels quite alright and for permanent set ups they should live long and not cause trouble. I used them for home studio applications but also for emergency xlr extensions for small live gigs when some cable is not long enough but i dont want to make it then reaaaaly long.
also great if you have for example a xlr splitter FOH and monitors, making some easy connection from splitter to monitor mixer or splitter multicore etc... be creative! use them for outboard gear!
