Satisfactory choice for Roland FP10
AramMinass 07.05.2023
I recently bought a pair of headphones for my Roland FP10, and I have mixed feelings about them. While they have some great features, there are also a few drawbacks that have affected my overall experience.

Firstly, the sound quality of the headphones is good and satisfactory for practicing. I've been able to hear all of the notes and nuances of my playing, and I haven't noticed any distortion or interference. However, the headphones don't go very loud, which can be a bit frustrating at times when you need higher volume levels to hear yourself over other noises.

Secondly, the headphones aren't super comfortable. I've found that the pressure on my ears can become quite heavy and uncomfortable after extended periods of use, which can be a bit of a problem if I'm practicing for long periods of time. I'd recommend taking regular breaks to avoid any discomfort.

However, the headphones do a good job of blocking out external noises, which is particularly useful if you're practicing in a noisy environment or trying to focus on your playing without distractions.

Overall, these headphones have their pros and cons. While the sound quality is good and the noise cancellation is impressive, the headphones can be uncomfortable and aren't always loud enough (with Roland FP 10). If you're looking for headphones for practicing, these could be a good option, but be prepared for some discomfort after extended use.

Budget monitors
Azzogat 20.02.2022
It's been almost a year. These things have been used mostly by my 6-7yo son. They've taken quite the beating and they survive to this day. Looks like they'll last a while.

Sound is as expected for this price. Mediocre, not particularly colored but not flat either. Output levels are good.

Comfort is pretty bad. Feels like hard plastic pressing on your ears. Which is exactly what it is, bar the super-thin padding.

Quality is average. Like I've said before, it's quite sturdy but it feels and looks cheap ( and it actually is cheap .. guess that figures ).

Fro drumming headphones: just fine!
Bob Katsionis 31.03.2021
Got this pair of cans as an extra headphone set for the drummer.
The sound is a bit mid-ranged but once I used it,found out that it highlights the mid information, crucial to the drummer to hear whats going on and play correctly.
Nothing fancy here, price tag is as always great, so you get this one without many regrets. If your drummer has higher expectations, tell him to bring his own "pro" one next time.

Dont know about durability, it has to be tested through time

I would rather go deaf
lawless 16.07.2022
I have a big collection of headphones so that I can use many instruments or devices without having to carry around headphones.

I didn't expect much from these but thought they would be fine for my practice piano.

The sound quality is OK, pretty minimum and comparable to anything in the same price range.

However, the comfort is absolutely terrible. I fell so sorry for the top review comment who said they got them for their kid. I would rather be hit in the head with a big dead fish than have to wear these. The padding is really bad and I can feel the plastic ridges pressing into my skin. I have a normal headsize and never have any problems with headphones in general.

Honestly, I would give these away for free since they are brand new, but I would feel bad for whoever receives them.

Very comfortable and sounds good
coldestbeerintown 05.08.2019
I have been using these pair of headphones both with my keyboard and with my guitar amplifier for a couple of months.

Pros:
It is lightweight. Quite many people miss it but it becomes important if you are practicing for three straight hours with headphones. It is comfortable and it does not bother you.
The cable is longer than enough. I have been walking around my room with these headphones on my head without problems.
The sound quality is decent. It sounds clear and crisp. It also responds to low frequencies quite well.

Cons:
The built quality could be a bit better. But there is really nothing to bothering about it.

Overall, these are quite good practice headphones with a very reasonable price and a good sound quality.

Overall good and confortable for the price
Edward Sousa 02.01.2023
Good for beginners, good sound overall for the price you pay; something to have in mind is that is might be a bit uncomfortable the longer you wear it. The sound is pretty, and is mostly ergonomic for most contexts.

acquired for electronic piano, but increasingly also used for other instruments and CD.

over-ear closed design, so other people in the house also have a life ;-)

Fair for price
Jean-Claude Van Damme 05.09.2022
A nice round sound - not for monitoring, obviously, but pleasant enough for a musician to want to keep playing. It can get pretty loud without distortion.
Its light weight borderlines on flimsy, but that's ok I guess. The jack adapter fits firmly enough, desipte its chinese outlook, so no problem there.
My only complaint is comfort: it presses its hard speaker covers against the ears, which can get painful after a couple of hours.
But hey, 20 euros !

Not a good option...
Sons do sótão 18.08.2024
Unlike othes thing that i got from Thomann, this was a bad choice. Very uncomfortable, and they didn´t last for long. The sound was OK, but nothing out of the ordinary... I do not recomend.

the t.bone HD 200 Review
the t.bone HD 200 Review 16.12.2024
These headphones come with all the necessary adapters to connect seamlessly to the Yamaha P-145 B and other keyboards. While they are functional and allow you to practice without disturbing others, they fall short in terms of comfort.

The headphones create significant pressure and heat on the ears, making them uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. Despite delivering great sound quality, which is ideal for keyboard practice, the discomfort overshadows this positive aspect.

Ultimately, I would not recommend this product due to the drawbacks in comfort, which outweigh the benefits of sound quality.
