I am new to amplification so have nothing to compare this too. It seems well made and has been simple and reliable in use.

Perfect power supply and interface for small mics

I bought this to go with my Ovid mic for acoustic guitar. Use it between the mic and a Headway EDB-2 preamp. It is by far the best way I have found to power and connect the Ovid mic.
