tm
great amp overall
tsope mustakis 27.10.2019
bought it for home use on a diy 2 way speaker with active crossover (xilica xp-4080). i know i know, it's a overkill. but i wanted a 4 ch class h amp. this amp sounds awesome. very clear, almost no noise at all even though it is so powerful (with the volume knob at max i need to put my ear on the tweeter to here the hiss and even then it is super low, for a 550w amp this is impressive) only problem i had was as i opened the amp to replace the fans (they are audible in a room but since they can change their speed they very silent, but not enough for a room) 4 of the case screws was jammed and i ended up having to drill them out (i did used the correct screw driver) other than that can't fault this amp, and for the money it's a steal... update... i have changed the fan to Noctua fans but still, it was too noisy for a room. in the end i have flipped the fans so now they blow air in instead of sucking it out, i also removed the filters from the front and got fan grills with a filter for the fans. now i finally have silence

UA
Failed at 3 years old
UK AV User 26.03.2022
A very useful amp with good linking features but unfortunately completely ruined a gig by overheating the PSU and failing whilst being used lightly (no problem with speakers) just a couple of months past the 3 year warranty. If I'd taken 2 x 2 channel amps I would have had redundancy and been able to complete the gig. Cheap for a reason I guess

y
A solid 4 channel AMP
yanickflyer 21.12.2020
Use:
I am using it to power 2 passive speakers and planning to buy two passive speakers to completely use the full 4 sets of channels

Pros:
4 channels means up to 4 speakers which is a deal in terms of features
Also being a bridge capable AMP means you can have two speakers on bridge mode instead of only one. If you want this kind on configuration this AMP is perfect for you

Cons:
I do not recommend to use the AMP as the way I am using now. I will be changing amps down the line. Using only 2 channels AMPs.
I have recently had one of the channels failed on me which is pretty common with the type. It is not really an issue but sending it repairs means I would be able to power any speaker
So you should bare this in mind

ms
Decent product, very well priced
mr steve 31.08.2015
I purchased this unit to install in to a school to allow them to have 4 monitor mixes for their band evenings. I wanted a 4 channel amp (for the rack space), that was well priced, and could drive 250w+ per channel. The TSA 4-300 was the ideal product. It met the recommended spec for the wedges I would be using with it, and was a budge priced, basic amp without any DSP built in.

Having used T.Amp units before, I knew that the unit would be solid, reliable and do exactly what I expected of it. I am confident this will last, plus it is backed up by Thomas's 3 year warranty which protect's the school's purchase.
