Pretty reasonable quality case - has proper hinge and sliding catches (not just relying on flexing the moulded plastic as a hinge until it breaks).

Sections for more adaptors than I'll ever get. Perhaps unnecessarily stiff to get in and out at the moment. The flute mount needs to be put at exactly the right circumference which is fiddly whether or not the velcro is stuck to itself.

A flaw seems to be that a normal cable for the Ovid mic (the removable type) is too big to fit in the space that's left for it - I'm likely to have to go at the foam with a knife to make it fit.

Pros:
Good quality for a plastic case

Cons:
Mic cable doesn't fit well
Flute clip fussy to store
More expensive to buy in an Ovid bundle (£10) than separately (£8.50)

Sturdy but misshapen inside
Smooooth 03.03.2018
This case is used for transporting a CC 100 microphone and its various clips in a variety of situations, and is generally suitable for most. The exterior of the product is made of good, strong plastic, with sliding locks that click reassuringly into place. Inside, the protective foam is more than adequate, as are the majority of the snug-fitting slots designed for their respective instrument clips and the phantom power adapter. It is however the space provided for the microphone itself that contains the single significant issue with this case, leaving no apparent means of safely tucking away the short, fragile cable connecting the condenser to its gooseneck. As other reviewers have noted this unfortunately presents the problem of the cable becoming caught in the hinge of the case or becoming irrevocably bent as one attempts to store it as intended. No provision is made for the main length of wire to the phantom adapter either, but this becomes less of a concern with some creative wrapping and folding. The large barcode sticker on the front of the case is somewhat unsightly but this is ultimately only a cosmetic concern, as is the mess made by attempting to remove it.

As a case, I'd say it's okay... it's just a shame that the microphones it's designed to protect are crap. Used it maybe a few times but I've had to switch to a respected three-letter-acronym based brand for my live mic now.

Slot for violin clip doest fit the actual clip
Karthik 24.04.2019
Case is of a very good quality for the mic with its cable & adapter. However the violin clip slot's shape is inversed and doesn't fit the violin clip

This case is useful when you have all Ovid System Clips and need to carry all instrument clips with you. Otherwise it's too big for one microphone and one clip only and there isn't room for two microphones.

Average Plastic Case

It holds the microphone and accessories reasonably well but I doubt it would last long outside of a flight case in trasport. Also I found that I had to cut a section of the foam insert out to make the head of the microphone fit without being cramped, so a redesign would be a good idea.
