Basic clip, but seems sturdy enough

The clip seems sturdy and fits the drum shells I tried it on and holds the microphone well.

There isn't anything to acoustically separate the drum from the clip, but the mic itself is mounted on rubber so there is a little protection from contact noise.

A note on the microphone when used in this context: the mic looks very exposed to being hit and broken, so keep away from careless drummers/percussionists.
