the t.bone SRM 1

Good build quality, and it's extremely affordable, which is great, but it didn't work for my needs. The rubber mounting pads were not very stable or secure on my mid-level Pearl kit. As I tighten it up, it actually causes the clamp to slide up and dismount from the rim. And even when you get it to stay mounted, the angle/position of the mic brings it way too far into the center of the drum to be useful (at least with SM 57 sized microphone). I would choose t.bone's other rim clamp over this one, personally.

The price of the product is great compared to alternatives, however, I have to say that you should be careful when buying it, because you have to keep in mind to things:
1. It's quite large clip. If you have average or large size mics, and average or small size drums, these clips will be too large for you as the mic will cover too much drum.
2. It's not very sturdy. Hitting on it with a stick mind result in moving the clip around the rim, which shouldn't happen with, for example, SRM 2 model.

Doesn´t really stuck to well and a bit on the soft side once you attach a microphone. Well, probarbly works well on small mics and drums with a high rim.

Good but, I couldn't get them to stay fixed on my Mapex drums, but I guess all rims on drums are different so you would have to try them on yours.
