I bought these headphones when my old studio headphones broke down, I spent some time looking around what types of headphones would be best suited for me because I wanted something that gives quality sound.
I can say that these t.bone TDJ 1000 headphones gives excellent sound, from low to high range. I like how they are sturdy built even though they are plastic the headphones feel solid. And you can also bend them and fold them so that is a plus. If you like I do hang them up on a hinge they stay "flat".
You get some additional soft earpads with these headphones but I have been using them for over a year already with the more hard leather earpads and have not had the need to change them.
There is some weight to these headphones though and the fitted hard headphone earpads I've been using now do feel pretty hard. So you don't get the "soft feeling" earpads out of the box. And I have experienced that if I use the headphones for a few hours at a time the hard earpads do tend to put pressure on my ears and cause some discomfort. The earpads are however of the leather type so that certainly adds to the quality.
The somewhat slim leather padding on top is also pretty hard. And I do get the same disconfort on top of my head, but this is more to do with the weight of the headphones and using them for extended periods of time.
The noise cancelling these provide are quite good, I have yet to get distracted from outside noise when I use these.
These t.bones also comes with a 3.5mm coiled cable so that for me is a good thing, it allows you to not have to much cable getting in the way.
The last thing I would like to point out is that you also get an leather bag with these t.bone headphones so you can store them and the extra pair of earpads and that is a nice touch.
I give the t.bone TDJ 1000 4 stars for comfort because of the discomfort I get. I can change earpads to the softer ones to solve one issue but the slim padding on top can not be changed so that is what is keeping me from giving the t.bones 5 stars in the comfort category.
For the money these are very good value headphones that give excellent sound quality and I would recommend them.

Deep Bass here!
Gerardo5491 15.07.2020
So if you love the extra bass and feel the boom this are the right headphones.
If we get more technical, I ordered this time 3 headphones, the TDJ 1000, Superlux HD330 and Sony MDR7506. So these are the ones I can compare between each other.
TDJ 1000, they have that boom boom that bass lovers love but for my own taste they sound just a little bit kind of boxed.
While the Superlux and Sony can play cristal clear high frequency sounds but they don't have the bass power of the TDJ 1000.
So if your thing is deep bass, these ones are winning.
Comfort - My ears are not fitting completely inside the headphones, so outside noise isolation is not the best, not bad as well... but the Superlux and Sony offer enough space for my ears to completely fit in.
Where I tested these headphones to compare between each other ?
Mac Book Pro, Roland FA08, Roland Octapad.
One more cool thing is that the cable is long, comes with a couple of jack adapters, one of them angled, a pocket for the headphones, and extra ear pads.
For such price? it's amazing.
Safe packing, fast delivery to Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Thanks ! ))

4 years ownership review

Mainly used for home dj and mixing.
The frequency range is very good compared to the high-end brands. I have a studio so noise isolation is relatively not relevant.
Plastic is still solid, only the screws need to be tightened.
I give all 5 stars because of price consideration and I compared this tdj 1000 to the other 4 more expensive headphones (USD 80 - 300) I have owned for this past 10 years.
