Cost effective radio mic
Richard217 11.07.2013
I use this mic for meeting and seminar gigs. The mic itself needs careful eqing and ideally a windshield for truly good results in the sound department, the mic is apparently head heavy but in use this inbalance is not a problem and it is comfortable in use. A simple on/off switch avoids confusion with combined mute switches on higher priced mics. The receiver is equally straight forward in use with an easy to read led display and 2 button operation to set frequencies. Range in even large indoor spaces is not an issue and I recently used the system outdoors at a small festival and so long as line of sight between trnsmitter and receiver was maintained the range was very good, at some 40 metres. Excellent value for money!

Good Mics but don't hide them.
Joel G. 939 17.02.2015
These mics are great for the price, but the minute I rack mounted them, they became very 'hissy'. I know that cramming them in a rack with amps, etc, isnt the best thing for signal, but I need them there and unfortunately they couldnt quite provide the sound. Out of the rack though, they sound great! Just remember that they are analogue so interference can be an issue. If you're not playing large venues or just need a mic for speeches, etc, these would be more than adequate.

I bought this a few years ago but I think my ears have improved - or am more discerning so I will most likely order something of a higher quality.

I was using this in an environment with three other radio microphones from 3 different manufacturers. For such an environment which is increasingly common, I realise I need a higher end product which enables much easier setup and allocation of free radio channels.

With this setup getting the radio frequencies right was a bit of trial and error and I was never really sure what was causing intermittent loud noises.

OK for small setups with 2 or three microphones of the same kind from Tbone/Thomann.

For anything more complex its time to think of something more fully featured.

Mid price Mic which is great value.
Eric5369 17.02.2014
This microphone is fantastic value for the modest price ! It was really easy to set up, has a good long range before losing the signal and has excellent sound quality. It is also quite robust and stands up well to rough treatment. A great Mic for bands playing small venues or for karaoke!
