Great beginner Lyre, with minor issues
N Ardelle 15.12.2022
With a great sound and range, this is a good beginner lyre if you want to test the waters around string instruments, however, for those not used to tuning an instrument like this, it can be quite fiddly with the tuning pegs being quite loose and the strings taking a very long time to settle, meaning it requires frequent retuning if not once per playing session for the first while of playing.

The pre-packed strings are decent quality and are labelled so there's no messing around trying to find the right one if you do run into a break. The tuning peg is also very useful and of great construction, but i'd advise taking it incredibly slowly and using a digital tuner in tandem for best results and to avoid snapping strings.

The body and finish are great, making it an excellent display piece too. The case isn't going to protect it from heavy wear and tear, but it's useful for storage and keeping it safe from the elements.

Rich sound and beautiful craftsmanship
PortableMusic 27.04.2023
The Thomann 16-string lyre harp I ordered is truly beautiful in both appearance and sound. I'm very happy with it. The case, also, impressed me; it's halfway between a hard case and a soft one and gives my lyre cushioning and protection.

Hochwertige Harfe, bin positiv überrascht
Widhold 18.02.2022
