I bought 3 of these along with 3 x 4KG Thomann bowls (along with some others) with the view to getting one really special out of that lot. The lack of individual bowl tuning was an issue and customer service suggested I buy multiple bowls and send back any I wasn't happy with. Not ideal, but a satisfactory solution to a common issue I see on reviews here.
I did end up getting a wonderful 3kG bowl. Contrary to expectations, the lightest bowl out of the 6 (3.0kg to 4.4kg) , produced the lowest note (A#1 @ 59Hz) and the longest sustain (1m40 ish). It wasn't a complete heavyweight unicorn, as one of the other 3kg bowls was only a few hz higher, but the one I kept had a fuller sound and better harmonics.
I also ended up keeping one of the 4Kg bowls (which I hadn't planned on) , which had a particularly rich sound. All of the 3kg bowls were lower pitch than the all of the 4kg bowls. The 4Kg bowls did have slightly more dense resonance.
Both are well made, though the lacquer is applied pretty poorly and doesn't contribute to the appearance. I might yet remove, though that's only an aesthetic preference. 1 star docked - but make no mistake, a good 3KG bowl at this price is a winner. I think these are the be the best value out of all the bigger bowls. The 4KG didn't offer any notable improvement but was 30% more expensive.
