Das idealtypische Formmodell für eine Bratschensaite

Zur Zeit spiele ich des Öfteren solistisch mit Klavier als auch mit Orchester und bin deshalb auf die Suche nach einer neuen Saitenmarke für meine Bratsche gegangen, um somit die letzte Dynamik und die entfernteste Klangfarbe dem Instrument entzaubern zu können. Bei dieser Gelegenheit habe ich meinen Geigenbauer Alfred Binner angerufen, der das Instrument gebaut hat und habe Ihn gefragt, welche Saiten Er für seine Bratschen-Neubauten verwenden würde. Wie aus der Pistole geschossen kam: "Thomastik Rondo, seit 10 Jahren!" Ich kann nur sagen, es hat sich wirklich gelohnt in diese Saiten zu investieren: ein voller und obertonreicher Klang, der keinen Frequenzbereich missen lässt und das Ganze noch mit einer hervorragenden Ansprache verbindet.
