Perfect case for the Mackie desks. I would've loved a another inch or two of room for the cable storage, but they do fit in there, you just have to be careful not to get them caught.
But its a fantastic case other wise, keeps the desk in perfect condition and you can just leave the desk in it while doing the gig, just take off the top half and there's your desk all perfectly set up.

Lightweight but solid mixer case.

This mixer case is a lightweight but solid solution to accept your Mackie DL1608 or Mackie DL806 digital mixer.
There is room at the rear of the case for both a wireless router (I use an Apple Airport Express) and it's power lead along with the power supply for the Mixer and it's lead.
The lid is fully removable allowing you to access the mixer and all ports easily without removing it from the bottom section of the case.
If you look after your gear then I see no reason why you won't have years of service from this case. It provides ample protection whilst remaining easily transportable and I am confident that my DL806 will suffer no ill effects whilst being transported.

After concerns about carrying the band's DL1608 to and from gig, and also storing it, I decided to invest in a carrier case. This seemed the most reasonably priced and from the pictures at least, looked very solid and reliable. I was not disappointed! As expected, the mixer sits perfectly in the case, with enough room to store the power supply too. It is built like a tank, and when carrying the mixer in a car with other gear, it is reassuring to know it is safe. The hinge mechanism is sound and it is very easy to remove and replace the lid. Highly recommended.

Its a great box with enough room for me to fit my Netgear router underneath the mixer so I can leave it plugged into the DL1608. And enough room at the back of the mixer to store the mackie and netgear PSU's. I just have to put a power cable to the Mackie PSU and pull out and plug in the netgear psu and I ready to go. The mixer fits in well enough for me to slide out the Ipad while the mixer stays in the bottom of the box. I was going to have a custom flight case made up , but this met all my needs for a good price.
