Dont Be Put Off By Price

These cases may appear to be cheap but don't be put off they are extremely good quality and can take a real beating. The build quality is excellent I have drilled holes in the bottom and added casters and the cases have taken these casters without a problem. I fill these cases with DMX cable and this had tendency in some other cases to make the sides bulge which would make the case hard to shut, not with these cases the sides are extremely strong and even when overloaded they do not bow. The locks and hinges on these cases are well reinforced and I have no worries about them breaking in the near future. A great case don't be put off by the price.

Thon cases are very robust things. They may cost no more than half of the more prestigious cases, but the quality is about the same.

The aluminium frame is well done, the plywood is reasonably thick while being light enough to be easily lifted.

The butterfly latches are way better than those cheaper alternatives.

Very good value.

Bien construit mais un peu maigre.

Ce que l'on demande à ce type de matériel de transport est une appréciable robustesse. Le couvercle étant fermé, l'exigence est exhaussée... Mais ouvert on remarque que les parois sont relativement minces et qu'une fois chargées elles font un peu le ventre rond. Il suffit alors d'aligner le couvercle et la planche pour fermer. Sinon pour le rapport qualité prix c'est très bien.

PS : Si roulettes à mettre, bien vouloir visser une planche de renfort sur toute la largeur de la pièce du dessous afin d'éviter un défoncement par le poids des marchandises embarquées.
