Solid work is sometimes the one you notice the least.

I used the D-Tuna for years and that is a genius device, but sadly can't be installed on recessed tremolo without definitive modifications. This Tone Vise little unit works around the problem brilliantly and, to my surprise, doesn't even require any further adjustment once installed!
Just be aware that a trem stopper is needed on recessed trems - highly recommend the FZG one.

Great alternative for d-tuna.

Great alternative in case you don’t want to cut a pocket for D-tuna. In my case I have a Schaller FR(recessed mount) and a trem setter, so I can use my tremolo both ways without any issues. Not sure about top-mount/non-recessed FR installations. It might appear tricky to setup fist time, but once setup performed correctly It works great, able to use it for D/drop C tuning without any issues.

Great alternative to the EVH d-tuna

I got this for my Charvel which has a recessed Floyd rose. The pitch shifter is perfect as it saved me cutting into the guitar body for a d-tuna. It was simple enough to install though the video by Tone Vise wasn’t much help.

Great for dropping floyds, with one downside
zacoid123 15.05.2024
It does what it needs to do, but be careful of dropping because it alters the string tension and causes all other strings to go a tiny bit sharp.
