Perfect replacement for the top of my aging Ultimate AX-48 stand

This doesn't look like the original mic boom accessory but it fits perfectly and is a good length for holding a mic out over the keys.

Good and bad at the same time

Great idea, not entirely perfect end result. Great idea to use aluminium tubing, nicely anodised almost look like carbon fibre made. This makes the whole construction ligh, and the end counterweight feels realy heavy because of the light front end. The flat part on the upper tube makes it not possible to rotate which is great. Now the tilting mechanism works perfect verticaly, but not horizontaly. Horizontaly it's not possible to clamp it so tight that it can stop the arm from rotating. In a tight seting if you push the arm even with a light touch it will rotate left or right. The other downside is that the USA made products still use 5/8 threads. Guys, please evolve to 3/8 thread!

Super Stativ
