I got this mouthpiece because I needed something flexible that would play in tune where the pitch is higher than 440Hz. It also has a lovely open sound when playing on slightly softer reeds as I can't stand having to play on anything too tough. Blends very well when playing 2nd and also allows more extrovert playing when playing 1st. Thomann's price on this is also excellent value for money.
