This is the 2nd one i bought for my 2nd strat. You simply will not get a better tremolo....yes its expensive, but it works 100% all the time. I buy these because i can return the strats to original state if i want to sell them.

Top End Trem
Stephen662 11.04.2024
For my partscaster build I wanted to upgrade from a standard trem - this trem allows for upbends as well as dives, and thus can give a more natural vibrato when used subtly.
It is expensive, but for that you get serious quality engineered components, a bunch of different tension springs and a finish that is appealing and ergonomic. No more pain on palm muting :)
The unit features good adjustment of all parameters, a handy quick installation guide and of course online videos that take you step by step.
Very happy with this purchase which sits in my Fender Body without need for modifications. Oh, worth adding that despite the very thin sustain block (to allow for the upbends) it is suprisingly heavy.

Top-of-the-line aftermarket system for vintage trem upgrades
Daniel Szabo 21.09.2024
When I decided I'd go full blow hot rodding of my 2009 Fender Highway One Strat I wanted a trem that needs no routing or other mod but capable of nice wide singing vibratos vintage trem systems are known for but also more extreme use of dives both up- and downwards. The VegaTrem VT1 UltraTrem Std is definitely capable of delivering the goods without the need of installing a locking nut or routing the body. Of course a good set of locking tuners and an LSR roller nut helps securing the instrument to stay in tune, but this system is definitely the best aftermarket stuff I've come across during my 25 years of playing guitar live and in studio. Great piece of gear, strongly recommended if someone desired upgrading a Strat with vintage trem for a more versatile, modern system. It's not cheap but I'd say it's worth every single penny.
