My first switching system and I love it from day 1.
Easy to program, perfect size for my pedalboard and sufficient number of loops. The insert between loops 6 and 7 is very useful if you use a 4 cable method, as I do.
The only thing that I’m missing are additional control outs, for channel or pedal switching, but it is expected considering the size of the switcher. You can always get the Control Switcher from Voodoo and connect it via midi with your PX-8+.
One remark regarding the quality control: the housing on my unit was not properly closed, with a small wire being stuck between the upper plate and the lower housing. It does not affect the functionality, but I would expect more for the price.

Overall, I am very happy with my PX-8+. It makes my life much easier when playing guitar and singing at the same time.

Ich habe das Gerät nun schon über ein Jahr in Gebrauch und bin absolut von dem Gerät überzeugt. Der Switcher bietet einem die Möglichkeit Presets abzuspeichern und innerhalb der Bänke abzurufen. Wer so etwas für Set-List-Gigs gebrauchen kann ist hier genau richtig. Ebenso die Midi-Funktionalität ist bei diesem Preis bemerkenswert und ich kenne wenig vergleichbares im gleichen Preissegment. Wer es kreativ mag kann natürlich auch alle Loops einzeln ansteuern und den Switcher als "Fernbedienung" benutzen. Die Schalter funktionieren sehr leise und angenehm. Wenn die Abmessungen noch etwas kleiner wären würde es sich perfekt auch ein Pedaltrain-Board setzen lassen. Es passt aber auch so problemlos darauf, nur steht es etwas über, was aber bei der Bedienung nicht spürbar ist. Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für alle die nicht ins allerhöchste Preissegment beim Switching gehen möchten!
