My best cable so far

Usually I do read a lot of reviews before purchasing instruments and accessories, this one was no exception.
Vovox is a well known brand in the field, and purchasing one of their flagships was no disappointment. I use this cable for recording, and I can confidently say it makes a significant difference to any cables I used before (The snake, planet waves, Fender custom shop, and noname). I also took one from my friend for a few days of testing before I decided to buy one. The signal coming out is really clean, no flickering, or general noises, of course they claim it has solid cores, and oxygen-free copper material, thus the pricetag is not so end-user friendly. However it compensates with the build and sound quality, not to mention the looks, as it's pretty b*d*ss with the protective but flexible outside coating, black / orange combo. I can say it feels and looks like it was built to last forever.
If anyone requires a cable for recording and gigs, it's a no-brainer to hook up at least one of these between your instrument and amp/effect. Absolutely 110% recommended.

I cannot tell the difference in sound with other cables since they always loose somethings when you use a big chain, but what I can tell is that this cable wont break ever.

Erfahrungsbericht Vovox Kabel

Eines kurz vorweg: Der Titel hätte auch lauten können "Vom Saulus zum Paulus". Als ich das erste Mal von einem Kabel hörte, das eine bestimmte Laufrichtung für das Signal vorsieht, dachte ich: Alles klar, Gitarristen kann man wirklich alles verkaufen! Und dann der Preis. Schlappe 70 Euro für immerhin 3,50 Meter. Ich müßte ja bescheuert sein......Zumal das Ding aussieht, als hätte man es von einem alten Bügeleisen abgeschnitten. ;-))

Jetzt kann ich mich eigendlich nur bei Marcus Deml und Ivan Schäfer von den Jazz Pistols bedanken, dass sie sich die Zeit genommen haben, mir diese Kabel vorzuführen. Daraufhin hab ich mir heimlich, still und leise eines bestellt.

Thomann lieferte wie gewohnt tags drauf - hierfür ein Kompliment. Kurzerhand in den Koch-Amp eingestöpselt und mit dem ersten Ton die Erkenntnis: Da ist einfach mehr Signal. Zunächst mal ganz wertfrei. Ob das für den einzelnen auch "besser" klingt, muß da jeder selbst entscheiden. Jedenfalls gilt diese Beobachtung bei allen ausprobierten Gitarren und Verstärkern, als auch bei einem 400€ Bass oder einen für 4000€ von Fodera (aktiv). Da ist definitiv mehr Signal! Auch "falschrum" gestöpselt ist ein deutlicher Unterschied zu (guten) Klotz oder Sommer-Kabeln wahrzunehmen. Wenn man so will, kann man das Vovox-Kabel wie einen EQ benutzen.
