Wampler Pantheon Overdrive

The Wampler pantheon Overdrive is an extremely versatile overdrive, that compliments whatever guitar, amp or any other overdrive you have.
EQ wise, the pantheon overdrive is very transparent and is perfect for adding gain without colouring the signal.
It has lots of options, both in terms of compression and gain amount, which makes it very useful in a variety of situations.

This is a great quality pedal. It is designed around the BluesBreaker (transparent flat EQ curve), and with the addition of the Bass/Treble/Presence knobs, it can cover a lot of ground. Also, there’s plenty of gain on tap.
It offers 3 stages of saturation and 3 options for compression. That means that you can use it as a classic BB (low-gain and open), a medium drive (like a crunch channel), or even as a really heavy, compressed, modern drive. The sound is really pleasing, but to my ears, it lacks attack and articulation.
The EQ knobs - Bass (low end) and Treble (somewhere around 2K) - are very helpful, and if you want to add more mids, you turn down the two knobs and turn up the volume, works quite nicely. The 3rd knob (Presence), is active, meaning it only adds to your sound really high frequencies, meant to make dark pickups bite more. So you start with this not at 5, but at 0. Useful feature, but it does introduce kind of a sizzle.
I wish this pedal had a bit more attack, I don’t like dynamics getting lost. Other than that, a really good pedal.
