I have one the same on another instrument that I still use. I recently bought one for another instrument and the rubber was worn out in a few months of use. A drop in quality?

Too small for bass

Did not fit onto the end pin of my Thomann double bass which has a standard sized end pin. May be suitable for cellos. Unfortunately Thomann do not seem to sell replacement end pin rubbers for their double basses.
