This stand is heavily built, well engineered and easy to use. It gives you flexible options for either toms or cymbal arms in any of the 3 sockets. It should endure the abuse of being on the road as my other Yamaha stands have. It will significantly increase the weight of your hardware bag, but will do the job of 3 lightweight stands.

Like all Yamaha hardware the quality and design of this stand is perfect. It's solid and designed for mounting hanging floor toms. Having large toms mounted from a stand as floor toms can be a nightmare but not with the Yamaha tom system. Everything stays in place and never lets you down.
