Yamaha YDS-150 Digital Saxophone

After playing alto and tenor sax for several years and trying to pack them in to our motor caravan, the compact design of the YDS150 is a game changer for me. It feels like an acoustic sax to play and when used with headphones or external amp/ speaker sounds like an acoustic sax. I have had to return my first purchase because of a physical fault, but Thomman have been excellent in there service in replacing it. I fully recommend this instrument for anyone wishing to practice silently at anytime but it is also a great instrument in its own right.

This is a novel instrument that suits both novice and more seasoned musicians. The exact fingering like a traditional saxophone makes transition go seamless and the creativity potential is huge because after all this is a synth! Bonus points for being able to play with headphones!!!
