This is not a "professional" opinion, since i'm just starting to play again after 18 years (played poorly in a high school marching band).
I bought this trumpet to replace a Thomann TR 400 G and i can't even begin to explain what a HUGE difference it made! The YTR 3335 is one of the most expensive student trumpets, but it is well worth the extra money.
So easy to blow and play! Perfect to keep a beginner motivated. All my student colleagues tried it and all feel the same difference.
The mouthpiece that comes with it is great. Good quality case. The valves come in pretty good starting conditions, and they'll get even better in the coming weeks after usage and constant oiling. 3rd valve tuning slide keeps slipping when in vertical position, so i'd recommend getting a different tuning slide grease other than the one that comes with the trumpet.
Thomann customer service and its brass section staff are absolutely great! (thanks for the patience!) 5 stars!

Great buy

Very good quality, the varnish, the valves, everything. Easy to play and wonderfull sound, better than my old Yamaha 5335 at half the price... The suitcase is very good as well, it has a hard top inside
and is lightweight and comfortable too. I am quite satisfied.

Ideal!

It's a relatively expensive student trumpet, but it's very comfortable and the sound is great! The mouthpiece it comes with is also pretty good and standard. Overall, an ideal package for a starter, so I think worth the extra money.
The case is rock solid and has useful pockets, back straps etc.
Thomann team was quite responsive and quick in delivering the items. Thanks!
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.

Die optimale Einsteiger- und Schülertrompete
Erik627 26.02.2013
Klasse Trompete!
