Das 10er China Trash ist ein kleines und hochwertiges Effektbecken. Der Sound ist weniger mit dem eines "echten" Chinas zu vergleichen. Dafür ist es vermutlich einfach zu klein. Es erzeugt aber einen exotischen und durchdringenden, aber nicht zu lauten Sound für kurze Akzente.
Mir gefällt es in Kombination mit kleinen Splash Becken oder mit Bells sehr gut.
Aktuell verwende ich es als Bottom mit einem 10er Special Dry Splash als Top. In der Kombination ergeben die beiden eine schöne, leicht dreckige Effekt-Hihat.

Perfect voor wanneer een splash teveel sustain heeft! Zocht een bekken wat kort, fel en trashy was. Deze voldoet daar aan! Als je deze 'stacked' met een splash krijg je een typisch Portnoy en Bozzio geluid, maar op zichzelf vind ik 'm het mooist klinken. Het is wel een dun bekken, dus ik raad een stack maken af om te voorkomen dat het bekken scheurt.
