The perfect interface for musicians and content creators

The converters in the Antelope Zen Quadro Synergy Core, which are feature in the manufacturer’s Galaxy series, boast a dynamic range of up to 130dB. Clocking is provided courtesy of the proprietary 64-bit AFC technology, which provides an excellent level of detail and an exceptional stereo image in audio playback. Inspired by the British and American consoles of the eighties and nineties, the internal preamps operate on the basis of six discrete transistors, offering excellent noise suppression and precise sound capture. With up to 75dB of gain, even the quietest dynamic and ribbon mics can be used with maximum success. XLR combo jacks are available as analogue input sockets for flexible connectivity. The front of the interface is fitted with special Hi-Z inputs for guitars and basses.

The Antelope Zen Quadro Synergy Core was created for all musicians and streamers who are looking to achieve a seamless signal flow with real-time effects. The dual USB ports allow a computer and smartphone to be connected simultaneously, enabling the free routing of signals and creation of mixes between the two devices. A loopback function is also available for streaming. Two practical headphone outputs located at the front of the device provide the perfect setup for two-person podcast productions. Additional digital signals can be fed in via the S/PDIF connections and the inputs and outputs are DC-coupled to enable control voltage output for hardware control. With linear preamps, integrated real-time effects, and standalone operation, the Antelope Zen Quadro Synergy Core is the gateway to achieving the perfect audio production.

The effects incorporated into the Synergy Core DSP can be accessed by connecting the interface to a computer. Synergy Core uses FPGA chips to model analogue hardware, ensuring exceptional productions that are virtually indistinguishable in sound from the legendary devices. A total of 37 effects are available, including compressors, equalisers, modulation effects, and guitar amps and cabs, with even more effects available to purchase via the Antelope Audio Shop. What is more, all effects can also be applied during streaming, not just after recording, with near-zero latency and zero processing strain on the connected computer! The Quadro offers so much for such a small package. The quality of the preamps and built-in effects offer professional standard audio. Despite some technical faults with the control panel software, which Antelope Audio are aware of and is in the process of fixing

Es la segunda que compro. Los convertidores son maravillosos, Puedo usarla con el móvil o el iPad, Synergy Core en tiempo real funciona a las mil maravillas. Y es estupendo para hacer podcast o YouTube live. Pero lo mejor es la calidad con la que grabo en mi dar en un dispositivo de este precio y este tamaño. Es cómoda, es ligera y es estable como una roca.

Die Treiber auf MAC OS benötigen als Kernel Extensions spezielle Berechtigungen -> ein NoGo
Neustart des MAC / PC: das Interface wird nicht mehr erkannt und muss ab und wieder angesteckt werden. -> noch ein NoGo
Und der sekundäre USB Port funktioniert auf iOS nur für Garage Band / Medienwiedergabe. Telefonate sind so nicht möglich. Weiters mag der USB Anschluss zwar Class Compliant sein, allerdings auf dem USB 3 Standard und nicht 2.0. Somit als Interface zum Streamen für eine PS5 unbrauchbar. (Nicht mal Antelope Support wusste vorab, ob das funktioniert oder nicht)

Das die Software oft mal abstürzt, und dann das Mixing nicht mehr funktioniert und das Eigenmonitoring deaktiviert ist, setzt der ganzen Sache noch einen weiteren Sargnagel ein.

Positiv zu vermerken: Wenn es funktioniert, dann klingt es echt geil!
Die Verarbeitung ist ebenfalls auf einem sehr hohen Niveau.

Ich wollte es wirklich mögen. Aber die No-Gos waren zu viel!

Jetzt habe ich einen Bridgecast X hier stehen! PS5 funktioniert einwandfrei, Treiber benötigen keine erweiterten Kernel Extension Rechte und es klingt auch noch ziemlich gut. Die fehlenden Plugins und somit eingeschränkte Erweiterbarkeit sind nat. ein Nachteil. Dafür ist aber die Stabilität und Zuverlässigkeit auf einem ganz anderen Level.

High end studio quality im Desktop Format

Moin zusammen! Ich habe mich für den Bau meines Studios, welches auf Songwriting und Content Creation ausgerichtet ist, länger mit dem Thema Interfaces befasst, insbesondere Rackmounted vs. Desktop. Best of both worlds bietet dieses Gerät für mich, da es genügend Ins & Outs (über ADAT erweiterbar) für meine Zwecke besitzt, frei zuweisbare Inputs für die DAW (Flexibilität!) und zeitgemäße Features wie das direkte Aufnehmen auf ein zweites Endgerät via zweiten USB C-Anschluss. Genau das, was ich also gesucht habe. Die Verarbeitung ist wie immer bei Antelope Audio Top, die PreAmps großartig und die Bedienung ist einfach. Man kann hiermit sehr, sehr glücklich werden.
