Im Alltag feiere ich meinen Holzbogen. Doch für eine außereuropäische Reise sind Carbonbögen unproblematischer im Umgang mit etwaig unwissenden Zöllnern. Der CodaBow Marquise benötigt keine lange Einspielzeit und ist leicht im Handling. Er reagiert schnell, ist wendig und man kann mit ihm trotzdem eine gewisse Tiefe kreieren, welche ich bei anderen Carbonbögen bislang vermisste. Die Declaration of Materials gab es nach einer Anfrage beim Hersteller schnell per Mail.
Inwieweit er seine Eigenschaften auf einer fünfwöchigen Asientour unter Beweis stellt, lässt sich erst nach Oktober berichten. Da Carbonbogen jedoch recht unempfindlich auf Feuchtigkeits- und Temperaturschwankungen reagieren, blicke ich optimistisch in die Zukunft. 👍
