Necessary Evil

I am probably like you and prioritise spending my hard earned money on either shiny lights but more importantly something that will improve the sounds i can record, shape or recreate...if you want the excellence of a coles 4038 you have to buy one...there is the alternative which has a shock mount - but proper mic positioning takes care of all that so dont bother!
